Dare to Dream!
How is it that there are some people living a life of success and fulfillment while others are anchored to one of mediocrity? President Theodore Roosevelt once said the following that may shed some light on this dilemma:
“Far better is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”
Do you dare mighty things? Are you determined to take risks despite fear of the unknown? Do you strongly persist through obstacles and failures? Or is being “average” safer? The truth is: If you don’t dare to dream big dreams and intentionally go after them with everything you’ve got you will never be more, do more and have more than now. You will remain stuck in your current reality because your goal-seeking nature will make sure of it - “We move towards and become like that which we think about. Our present thoughts determine our future.” Lou Tice, The Pacific Institute
Author and speaker, Dr. Myles Munroe, says the following about going after our dreams:
“Unless you continually try to reach higher, go farther, see over and grasp something greater than you know, you will never discover your full potential.”
People who make things happen have the ability to intentionally go after Big, Hairy, Audacious Goals (BHAG’s) with great determination, despite facing adversity. Start today by daring to dream!
